About me

Get to know Yvonne

“Come as you are.” Yvonne offers a safe, supportive space where you can explore the parts of yourself that may have been unheard, untold, or hidden.

She believes that developing a healthy relationship with yourself leads to a deep sense of inner peace—one that allows you to face life’s challenges and connect with others with greater clarity, calm, confidence, courage, and compassion.

Whenever possible, Yvonne invites collaboration with family members or significant others, creating space for shared insight, deeper connection, and collective healing. During her time at the YWCA Vocational Training Centre, Yvonne gained experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those from economically disadvantaged communities. She provided both individual and group counselling, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for healing and personal growth.

Today, Yvonne continues to give back by volunteering with various religious and community organizations, offering psychological support both online and in person.

She has had the privilege of working with people of all ages—teens, adults, couples, and families—from many different backgrounds and life experiences.

With gentle support, Yvonne guides you in reconnecting with your inner self, helping you tap into your innate ability to heal, grow, and move forward. “We’re all interconnected.” Yvonne also understands that we don’t exist in isolation, but within intricate webs of relationships—with our families, communities, and the world around us. Drawing from a systemic perspective, she supports her clients in navigating relational patterns and challenges, gently exploring how these dynamics shape one’s sense of self and experience of life.

When Yvonne’s off work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends over nice meals. She enjoys musical theatre and she also has a fondness for nature, often engaging in activities like hiking and enjoying the beauty of beaches. Yvonne is also a true dog lover at heart!
