About me

Get to know Yen Li

Yen Li has experienced working with individuals of all ages, from teenagers to elderly on a range of mental health concerns relating to mood (stress, depression, anxiety), neurodevelopment (e.g., ADHD, developmental delay), meaning in life, self-worth, grief, coping with change, and relationships (intrapersonal and interpersonal). She has received consistent positive feedback working with both local and international clients.

Professionally trained in individual psychotherapy, psychological assessments, Yen Li also leads insightful workshops, talks and training aimed at personal and professional growth. She actively collaborates with NGOs, organizations and universities.

Yen Li believes you are not your thoughts, you are more. She guides and supports individuals towards meaningful and purposeful decisions by uncovering and aligning their values. A Malaysian at heart, she takes a personalized friendly approach using different languages and dialects, keeping the conversation engaged while focusing on the goal desired. She values creativity and enjoys using analogies and metaphors to make things relatable to her clients.

Yen Li sees healing as more than just managing symptoms and/or addressing diagnoses – it’s about helping you live a purposeful life aligned with your values. Think of it like writing a story for a chapter that hasn’t been written yet. No matter what has happened before, whether it is painful or traumatic, you have the power to choose how this chapter unfolds and what you want to create moving forward.

Yen Li loves creativity – whether it’s through hobbies or using creative metaphors in sessions. She also take every opportunity to step away from the hustle and reconnect with herself. Balance is always a work in progress through life’s different phrases, and she encourage you to find your own version too!
