(Venise’s internship with Aloe Mind ends on 19 October 2026)
Venise is a trainee clinical psychologist who works closely with adults and teenagers, including individuals from the LGBTQ+ and non-local communities. She supports clients in navigating a range of psychological concerns, such as depression, anxiety, mood and personality disorders, eating disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. She also helps individuals facing interpersonal relationship challenges, stress, burnout, and supports personal growth and self-development.
Venise has prior experience working with children with special needs and has been involved in conducting workshops for children and teenagers, focusing on coping with academic stress and developing emotional regulation skills.
She believes that everyone deserves a safe space where they feel heard and supported. She focuses on guiding clients in self-discovery and personal growth within a warm, non-judgmental environment, where they can openly express themselves and process their emotions. She values building strong, genuine connections with her clients and celebrates small milestones to help them work toward better emotional well-being.
As a homebody, Venise usually has music playing in the background while she reads or works on her building blocks, but every now and then you’ll find her at a cafe hunting for a good coffee or matcha.
