About me

Get to know Natasha

Natasha was born and raised in Malaysia, by two local parents of Chinese, Baba Nyonya, and Indian origins. She is a Licensed Counsellor and an Approved Clinical Supervisor, certified with the Malaysian National Board of Counsellors.

Natasha helps clients recognize and reframe unhelpful thought patterns. Like self-criticism, black-and-white thinking, or catastrophizing. She will explore where these beliefs may have originated, whether through past experiences, family messages, or cultural narratives. From there, she will challenge them to engage in more effective behaviours that align with their values, such as setting boundaries, practicing self-compassion, or taking intentional steps toward goals, so they can break free from old cycles and build a more fulfilling, grounded life.

She spent the next few years working within private and non-governmental sectors where she learned to lead teams and be a fellow collaborator in community projects. She has assisted adults, students, elderly, and LGBTIQQ communities in their healing journey.

Currently, she supervises the next generation of trainee counsellors at Monash University.

In her free time, Natasha enjoys binge-watching Netflix, acrylic painting and chatting with friends.
