Jing Hui is a Clinical Psychologist trainee who works with adolescents, students, and adults experiencing emotional distress, anxiety, stress, burnout, depression, grief, trauma-related experiences, and interpersonal or relationship difficulties. She is particularly interested in supporting individuals who are navigating life transitions, academic pressures, and challenges in managing overwhelming thoughts and emotions. Through her academic training and supervised clinical experience, Jing Hui has supported individuals in understanding their emotional experiences and developing healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges.
Jing Hui believes that feeling heard and understood can be a powerful starting point for change. With this belief, she strives to create a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and exploring meaningful ways to move forward. As a trainee, she remains committed to reflective practice, continuous learning, and working collaboratively with clients while developing her clinical skills under professional supervision.
Jing Hui adopts an evidence-based and collaborative approach in therapy, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She works collaboratively with clients to help them understand the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, while developing practical coping strategies and emotional regulation skills. Jing Hui is committed to walking alongside clients through their healing journeys, supporting them in navigating challenges, building resilience, and moving toward greater psychological well-being within a safe and supportive therapeutic space. 🌱
Outside of her clinical work, Jing Hui enjoys exploring new food places, spending time with friends, and engaging in activities that help her recharge and maintain balance. She believes that taking time to rest and reconnect with oneself is an important part of maintaining emotional wellbeing. 🌿
