Get to know Hooi Ting
Hooi Ting supports individuals through depression, anxiety, trauma, and relational challenges. She has experience with neurodivergent children, teens, and adults helping them manage daily life and develop adaptive skills. She also works with couples to address conflicts, including infidelity and intimacy issues, fostering healthier relationships.
She believes that we are capable of creating the lives we desire, though we may need support to navigate the barriers and complexities that arise along the way. She approaches therapy as a collaborative journey, fostering an empathetic space where healing and self-awareness can flourish. Practicing from a humanistic perspective, she integrates Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) with elements of Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Hooi Ting takes a collaborative and compassionate approach, exploring clients’ emotions and experiences as meaningful signals that offer insight into their deeper needs. By gently unpacking the impact of past experiences and honoring the whole person, she works with clients to uncover patterns, build self-awareness, and move toward creating a life that feels authentic, connected, and aligned with their values.
Hooi Ting enjoys spending time with loved ones, listening to true crime podcasts and going on walks in her free time.
