About me

Get to know Anita

Anita primarily works with adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, grief, trauma, stress, and interpersonal difficulties. She also supports clients experiencing burnout, low self-esteem, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and challenges with daily functioning.

Anita primarily uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients understand the relationship between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. She works collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful patterns, develop coping strategies, and build practical skills to manage challenges. She also integrates techniques from other therapeutic approaches to meet each client's individual needs.

In addition to therapy, Anita has experience conducting and supporting ADHD assessments for adults, including assessing symptoms, gathering relevant history, and exploring how ADHD affects daily functioning. She aims to provide clients with clarity, validation, and practical support throughout the assessment process.

As a therapist, Anita aims to provide a safe space for clients to share their experiences and gain new insights into themselves and their challenges. She believes it is important to recognise that no one is meant to carry the weight of the world alone and that seeking support is both valuable and courageous. On her days off, Anita enjoys travelling, having a good cup of coffee, and watching Netflix.
