About me

Get to know Aishah

As a clinical psychologist, Aishah is guided by Viktor Frankl's belief that, “Those who have a ‘why’ to live can bear almost any ‘how’.” Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, each carrying their own unique stories and life experiences while navigating different seasons of life.

She brings extensive experience across both psychiatric and neuropsychological settings. Her early clinical training at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Rehabilitasi Cheras enabled her to work with a wide range of complex presentations, from psychiatric conditions to acquired and neurodegenerative brain disorders. Her clinical work encompasses individuals across the lifespan and includes psychological assessments for a broad range of conditions, including anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ADHD and ASD), and neurocognitive disorders (e.g., traumatic brain injury, stroke, and dementia). In her therapeutic work, she believes that every client's journey is unique and therefore adopts an integrative approach to psychotherapy that is thoughtfully tailored to each individual's needs and goals. Through this approach, she aims to create a supportive space that fosters resilience, self-discovery, and meaningful personal growth.

Aishah is passionate about making mental health services accessible to everyone, particularly older adults and individuals with disabilities. As a student of sign language, she is committed to promoting inclusive communication and creating a safe space where clients can express themselves authentically, feel understood, and know that their voices matter.

Aishah is committed to supporting clients move towards what matters most to them at a pace that feels right for them. She views growth as a spiral staircase rather than a linear path, where each step offers opportunities for deeper understanding and growth. As clients navigate different seasons of life, she strives to provide a supportive space that honour their unique journey.

Beyond her professional role, Aishah finds joy in exploring different forms of creative expression, staying active through sports, and spending time with a good book or movie, which help her stay curious and connected to the world around her.
