Psychological Assessment

Aloe Mind Malaysia | Mental Healthcare Services in Malaysia and Singapore

Psychological assessment is the process of assessing a person's mental health and behaviour with the use of standardised tools, observations and other methods.

Our clinical psychologists conduct assessments to diagnose mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), among others.

At Aloe Mind, we provide psychological assessments for both children (age 4 to 17 years old) and adults.

First step: Clinical Intake

During the clinical intake, our clinical psychologist will take the time to understand your background in depth, including your formative years, family and social relationships, education and employment history, and physical health.

They will also explore your symptoms and how they are impacting your daily life.

At the conclusion of the clinical intake, our psychologist will discuss the next steps with you, such as whether to move forward with a psychological assessment or therapy sessions. Once you're ready to proceed, our team will work with you to schedule a suitable date and time.

The cost of a clinical intake is RM195 for an online session and RM250 for an in-person session. You can find our full prices here.

Next step: Psychological Assessment

If further assessment is needed, our psychologist will explain the needed assessment tools and what to expect during the psychological evaluation. The fees for our psychological assessments range from RM1,300 to RM2,600, depending on the tools used.

This information will help you make a fully informed decision about whether to proceed with the assessment or explore other options.

We also provide services by trainee clinical psychologists at a deep discount. Please contact us for further information if you are interested in our trainee services.
