About me
Get to know Emelyne
Emelyne is a licensed and registered counsellor with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Her areas of interest include navigating life transitions and bettering interpersonal relationships. She is also interested in cultural and generational influences towards one’s life.
Emelyne’s approach to therapy is strongly influenced by the Object Relations perspective in Psychoanalysis that explores early caregiver relationships and how it shapes our ways of relating.
Emelyne sees therapy as a respectful, collaborative process; aiming to help clients relate to themselves and the world in more meaningful ways.
On her days off, Emelyne regularly reads and goes thrifting.
