About me

Get to know Natasha

Natasha was born and raised in Malaysia, by two local parents of Chinese, Baba Nyonya, and Indian origins. She is a Licensed Counsellor and an Approved Clinical Supervisor, certified with the Malaysian National Board of Counsellors (KB09125, PA08735).

Before 2020, Natasha facilitated EAP workshops on workplace mental health, stress, and burnout for HSBC, Allianz, Kenanga, and Accenture. After 2020, she transitioned into a trainer role within B40 communities, supporting areas such as family dynamics, peer relationships, stress, and overall quality of living.

Since 2020, Natasha has been tutoring undergraduate psychology units at Monash University, including Developmental, Social, Counselling, and Positive Psychology. She also serves as a Clinical Counselling Supervisor, guiding and supporting trainee counsellors in the Master of Counselling programme.

Natasha helps clients recognize and reframe unhelpful thought patterns. Like self-criticism, black-and-white thinking, or catastrophizing. She will explore where these beliefs may have originated, whether through past experiences, family messages, or cultural narratives. From there, she will challenge them to engage in more effective behaviours that align with their values, such as setting boundaries, practicing self-compassion, or taking intentional steps toward goals, so they can break free from old cycles and build a more fulfilling, grounded life.

In her free time, Natasha enjoys binge-watching Netflix, acrylic painting and chatting with friends.
