Get to know Twinkle
Twinkle is experienced in supporting adults and teens with various mental health concerns, including those from multicultural and LGBTQ+ backgrounds. However, her main interests lie in assesing and treating depression and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, addiction, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and neurodevelopmental disorders such as Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Twinkle has worked in both public and private healthcare settings, including Pusat Perubatan UKM, Mahkota Medical Centre, People Psychological Services, and WeCare Allied Health Center. Twinkle was also briefly involved in the Refugee Resilience Intervention Program, where she served as a refugee school consultant.
Twinkle believes that nobody is broken, but simply stuck. She views mental health conditions as an opportunity to recognize and address disconnection from personal values. For her, mental well-being can be achieved when individuals are aligned with values meaningful to them.
Twinkle aims to support individuals in expressing and reflecting, helping them navigate life by learning to make choices that are true to themselves.
Twinkle enjoys exploring a variety of crafts, flower arranging, reading manga, and spending time at home with her pet dog (who may occasionally make an appearance in her online sessions).
