(Nikeisha's internship with Aloe Mind ends on 22 March 2027)

Nikeisha primarily works with children, students, and adults experiencing various mental health concerns. Her areas of interest include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, grief, and trauma. She also supports clients with stress, burnout, life transitions, and relational/interpersonal difficulties. Nikeisha views therapy as a collaborative journey towards meaningful change. Through this process, she hopes to support clients in developing greater self-understanding, resilience, and introspection to navigate challenges.

Her main therapeutic approaches are grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She also draws on integrative techniques for a more holistic approach to meet clients' individual needs and goals. In sessions, Nikeisha strives to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences at their own pace.

Outside of work, Nikeisha is active in sports such as running and swimming. She also enjoys spending time with her three cats!
