About me

Get to know Deffanie

Deffanie is a trainee clinical psychologist. She works primarily with young adults, students, individuals, and some non-locals who are experiencing emotional distress. Her areas of focus include anxiety and stress management, emotional regulation and coping skills, burnout and academic difficulties, as well as personal growth and self-understanding. Deffanie has gained experience through having her clinical practicum at Heart Psychological Services. She provides psychological support and conducting clinical assessment under supervision. Previously, she had an internship a as a Psychological Centre Assistant at Safe Space Psychology Centre. She mainly assisted the operations and administrative practice of a mental health service environment.

She supports clients in developing insight, strengthening coping skills, enhancing emotion regulation, and working toward meaningful and sustainable changes.

In her free time, Deffanie enjoys traveling, hanging out, shopping, cafe-hopping, sleeping, and night drives.
