Get to know Chloe

(Chloe's internship with Aloe Mind ends on 22 March 2027)

Chloe is a trainee clinical psychologist. Her experience includes supporting children with special needs in an autism centre, as well as providing student support within a school setting, where she worked with students experiencing academic, behavioural, and adjustment-related challenges. During her clinical practicum, Chloe also gained experience working with adults experiencing concerns related to depression, anxiety, and work or academic-related stress. These experiences fuelled her interest in understanding the unique experiences underlying each client’s concerns and sense of fulfilment from supporting clients as they navigate their challenges.

Chloe's work is anchored on the value of empathy and mutual understanding. She believes that every individual has a unique life story. Within each story, there might be moments of uncertainty. Yet, there are also aspects that highlights glimmers of hope and positivity that encapsulate the bravery and courage an individual has to overcome their obstacles.

Chloe's goal as a trainee clinical psychologist is to draw on moments of hope and guide her clients through difficult periods of their lives. She hopes to empower them to navigate through their obstacles by supporting them in recognising their strengths and navigating challenges with greater confidence and resilience. Chloe believes that even if it is just to provide a lending ear and offer solace, being there for someone can make a difference.

Chloe enjoys watching Chinese historical dramas, trying out new foods, and playing video games in her free time.
